Working hard with my fellow sisters in the Union movement. Learning it really doesn't matter what part of the country you are living in our labor movement is under attack. The future is up to us in teaching our union members the importance of working toward our goals of an equitable wage and health care for all workers. Unions are not the problem. Media has told the public we are lazy and do not do the work, however we know without City or State workers, the public would not be helped as they are now, workers are dedicated to all people who come to them for help, we must continue to fight the stereo type  remind the public City workers are not the enemy but their neighbors and family.
